Week One Summer 2024: 3D Printing/ Applied Physics
Grade: 6 - 8
by STEAM WORKS STUDIOIn-Person 135 Village Blvd, Princeton, NJ, 08540, US
3D Print Projects: CAD and 3D Printing introduces students to basic 3-D modeling. Students learn the principles needed to design exciting projects, such as primitive shapes, measurement, hollow objects & assemblies. Students keep the 3D printed models that they make! Design thinking and creative problem solving.
Applied Physics: See Newton's law in action with real measurements. What is centripetal force? Can you actually measure and see that it matches what your learn in your text books? Can you measure & see that the electromagnetic formula of attraction is indeed what you learn? Students explore how to use simple sensors & micro controllers with LCD displays to measure and see the incredible mathematical world of physics!
