A master class for learning techniques, procedures, coding, strategy leading in to competing in a Steam Works sponsored First Lego League (FLL) competition team. This class will prepare you for competition using the Mindstorms EV3 kit and challenges laid out on a Competition team table. Teaches problem solving, working in a team, trouble shooting skills, perseverance, mechanical engineering, design, strategy, documentation, presentation and programming while making robust Robots that can win tournaments. The sessions are 2 hour long and are calculated with 4 sessions x 2 hours = 8 hours of programming = $265. The cost includes any extra classes required during the final weeks and the cost of parts and registration for the Competition.

With this Robotic Kit (VEX) and the level of programming Students learn while working in a team, they get ready for prime time Robotics at High School or Regional VEX competitions!Metal frames, gears, trusses help create these load bearing and very functional Robots. Robotics design and test iterative process is taught along with advanced programming in C Language.

The Java Fundamentals course introduces students to the basic fundamental principles of the Java Programming Language in a step by step structured manner. The course employs many practical examples andexercises that make these programming fundamental concepts clear. An emphasis is given to examples that useGraphics, Colors & Animation to keep the students engaged, curious and interested. The course consists of 12 classes of2 hours each as well as 4 hours of Homework that must be completed to receive a Certificate of Completion.
