An entry-level gaming handheld for DIY gaming, and maybe a little retro-emulation. It's not the fastest and best of everything but it is an all-in-one-dev board with a lot of possibilities and completely open source! Rumble effect and sound along with a rich TFT screen and headphone jack makes it a beautiful take home portable project while learning about electronics, coding, fabrication and assembly!

DIY Game Console

Get ready to build, and program your own remote-controlled car! In this hands-on camp, campers will explore the world of electronics and coding using Arduino technology. They'll assemble components, wire circuits, and program their RC cars to navigate obstacles and follow commands. Along the way, they'll develop problem-solving skills and gain real-world engineering experience.

In this camp, campers will explore how our eyes and brains work together to see motion and images. Campers will investigate visual perception, light, and illusion by creating classic optical toys. Through hands-on building and experimentation, students will learn how still images can appear to move and how simple designs can trick our eyes.

Ready to learn and master the game of chess? In this engaging camp, campers will start with the basics and then dive into strategies and techniques to outthink their opponents. Through fun challenges and paired gameplay, they'll sharpen their problem-solving skills, practice patience, and develop strategic thinking. Plus, they might even get the chance to 3D print their own chess piece!

Learn how to create laser cut wood and acrylic works of art or highly accurate technical creations. Learn cuts and engraving techniques and the tools that make design come alive. Make a custom puzzle, wooden gift boxes, a starship and many more cool creations that you can design and take home! We will be using a desktop glowforge Laser cutter, Inkscape, Adobe illustrator and gimp will be used for design and illustrations.
